My name is Marissa Hine and I’m 22 years old. Born and raised in Indiana, I am a proud Hoosier and cliche midwestern. I played volleyball for Ball State University and just recently finished my career in December. With one more year to go, I’ll graduate with a degree in public relations. My interests and passions are what inspires me and gives me confidence, even though they are about as all of the place as I am most of the time.
I love sports – playing, coaching, watching, and most importantly, winning.
I love fashion, it’s in my blood. I have an overwhelming need to stand out, and while my loud voice and, oftentimes, too outgoing personality usually does the trick, I also like to express myself through my personal style.
Makeup may be the most important part of my life (other than food and my dogs and sleep and Netflix…and wine, of course).
I love design, whether it be interior or a resume template. I love designing settings and content with full creative freedom, no boundaries and no guidelines. It’s exhilarating to think outside the box and do something that stands out.
Lastly, I love people. Yes, I love my family and friends right behind God – they’re my everything. But, when I say people, I literally mean human beings in general. I love interacting, communicating, and understanding a person. Hearing and learning someone’s story is the best gift they can give me and the purest form of connection. I pride myself on being able to relate and connect with all types of people and personalities. Because of this, my relationships are easily the core of my life and the person I am.
Known for the phrases “it’s all about the memories” and “fake it ’til you make it,“ I’m all about living life to the fullest, finding happiness in every situation, and stepping outside your comfort zone, all with the hope of creating moments and making memories that make this whole journey of life worth it. I am an intense, lively, engaging person and definitely in the top 5 loudest people you’ve ever met. Yet, I am also a relatable, familiar example of an average woman in her twenties trying to figure out life and make it through this crazy stage with more poise, confidence, and happiness than ever before.
